We all have them they are a rule book by which we live our lives. They influence every part of our lives, including the choices and decisions we take, our perceptions, and reactions to any given situation, event, or person.
Belief systems are formed throughout life, but especially during the time from birth through early childhood.
During these unprecedented times, you may well be experiencing a spiritual awakening or experiencing one of the many stages a spiritual awakening involves.
Spiritual awakening happens as our ego, for whatever reason, moves out of the driver’s seat and into the passenger seat. The ego consists of many parts that have been formed to protect the inner child part of us.
Each part with its own set of behaviours/habits.
During your spiritual awakening, you begin to come more in touch with the part of you that is the observer, the core of who you are, or what Jung called Self.

It happens to us all, we grow up and become adults. How we perceive the world around us though is very much made from all the jigsaw pieces we have collected (memories) throughout our childhood and adolescent years.
As we progress through life we learn to let go of our superficial limiting beliefs however our more deep-rooted limiting beliefs most of the time remain with us. It is these deep-rooted limiting beliefs that affect the relationship we have with ourselves as well as our relationship with others.
When your inner child receives healing she offers in return magic.
The magic is a new way of living. You begin to be more....

Do you live life avoiding rejection?
It is a primitive fear, one we begin to experience from a really young age. As children we want to be accepted by our peers, to belong to a group. Seeking approval becomes our objective at the sacrifice of speaking our truth. We spend much of our time either hiding or moving away from the risk of being rejected by others. Not being seen!

Making and keeping commitments to yourself is important because it builds trust. Like in any relationship, the relationship you have with your inner child is built on trust.
When you don’t keep your word with yourself, you internally breach your integrity. Do this too often you begin to distrust yourself and on a deep level, your inner child feels this. Unconsciously you begin adopting behaviours that although may work for a while, later become unhelpful.

The needs of our inner child are the same needs we seek but we haven’t allowed ourselves to become fully aware of, feel, or been able to find a way to sufficiently meet them. So quite often, we instead try to silence these deeper longings with distractions such as smoking, alcohol, overeating, overspending, work-a-holism, or coping strategies such as people pleasing and perfectionism.
The unmet needs of our Inner Child is the birth of both our early wounding and the most profound healing!

Do you love all of you? ………I hear you quietly saying NO to yourself in your head!
I believe we all should be answering yes but for sure there are many of us who find it difficult to really fully love all of who we are. Sadly, it’s because we’ve forgotten the wounded child that still lives within us.
Is it not time to love all of you?

What our mind thinks, perceives, and experiences is sent from the brain to the rest of the body.

Mindfulness is a life discipline for raising awareness of "what is".
It is intentionally bringing awareness to the present moment in a non-judgemental way.
It encourages you to learn from your own experiences by becoming more sensitive to what is going on around you and inside of you. It helps you to nurture inner peace within, improve concentration and general wellbeing.
Mindfulness is a choice and offers choice. It will not eliminate stress or other difficulties you may encounter.
